There are significant levels of investment going into Dartmouth over 2025, increasing the accommodation options for visitors to our beautiful town.

The iconic Royal Castle Hotel in the centre of Dartmouth is going through a multi-million pound refurbishment over the next 6 months:

Royal Castle say “Expect a refreshed look and thoughtfully reconfigured layouts, all designed to celebrate the building’s history and its breathtaking location in the heart of Dartmouth. As we embark on this sensitive transformation, we’re committed to preserving the charm and character that make this building so special. We look forward to sharing more details soon and welcoming you back in the warmer months.”

A short ferry ride across the River Dart at Noss Marina work is progressing well on the 69-bed boutique Noss on Dart Hotel and Spa, opening late 2025.

Meanwhile, Premier Inns are readying to start the build of a new 105-room hotel in Dartmouth. The hotel aims to cater to both tourists and business visitors.

Premier say  “It’s really important to us that the new building fits into the local neighbourhood, creating a comfortable, affordable, and attractive place for visitors to stay, as well as providing significant investment into jobs and the local economy.”

And finally Dartmouth Grove is a development of 11 brand new holiday homes being built on a private driveway at the heart of the course at Dartmouth Hotel & Spa, which boasts some of the best golfing in the region.

“Each lodge has three luxury bedrooms, leaving you only to decide who comes along, though you might not want to share the hot tub and terrace with the best views around. With an onsite Bar & Bistro, Golf Course and Spa & Health Club facilities you’re unlikely to ever want to leave…but if you do, you can enjoy the leisure activities the South Devon Coast has to offer – yachting, beaches, waterside towns and a food-lover’s paradise.”
