The Dartmouth & District Chamber of Commerce (DDC) is a new Association that has been formed to promote the business interests of Dartmouth and the surrounding area.

The Chamber is a membership organisation that aims to improve the local economy in the Dartmouth and District area of South Hams, Devon. The Chamber will achieve this aim through three main purposes: to advocate, to promote, to collaborate.

In a recent survey about the local economy, led by Anthony Mangnall MP, respondents highlighted a need for further collaboration and unified representation of business needs within the area. The newly formed committee is looking at the results of this survey as they shape the plans for the Chamber.

Laura Campbell and Jo Hinde were voted into post as Co-Chairs at a meeting on 23rd October, along with Sam Gray as Membership Officer. We are now recruiting for a Secretary and Treasurer to join us to give a total of five officers.

We are also looking for four Executive members to give us our total of nine committee members as set out in our Constitution.
