By The Dart magazine is the popular local magazine for Dartmouth/Kingswear and surrounding villages.

• Launched March 2008 – 125 editions to date (August 2025)
• Published 6 times a year – March, May, July, mid August, October & December. 
• 5,000 copies distributed for free in/around Dartmouth/Kingswear and surrounding area – 70% by hand direct to homes/businesses, the rest picked up from key distribution points around Dartmouth, in local villages and in other local towns.
• Comprehensive, informative and entertaining local information: what’s on, things to do, interviews with local people, featured businesses, on the water, local history and geography etc. 
• Supported by advertising from local businesses – Over 500 businesses regularly advertise with us – some have been regular advertisers for over 10 years.
• Published by local people for local people.

 By The Dart is published by South Devon Magazines. We also publish the annual Dart Harbour Guide, Dartmouth Visitor Guide, Dartmouth Visitor Map and miscellaneous yearbooks, brochures and programmes for local businesses, festivals and events. We are based in Kingswear.
